Synopsis: The Umbrella Corporation's deadly T-virus continues to ravage our planet, transforming the worldwide population into legions from the flesh eating Undead. Meanwhile, Alice (Mila Jovovich) awakens in the middle of Umbrella's most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further in to the complex. Without a safe place, Alice is constantly on the hunt those accountable for the outbreak; a chase that can take her from Tokyo to New York, Washington, D.C. and Moscow, culminating in a "mind-blowing" revelation that will force her to rethink everything that she once thought to be true. Aided by newfound allies and familiar friends, Alice must battle to survive long enough to flee a hostile world around the brink of oblivion.
Release: Resident Evil: Retribution had its world premiere in Japan (where it's retiled Biohazard V: Retribution) on September 3 and is due for release worldwide on September 14th in 3D, IMAX 3D, and 2D. The MPAA's official rating for that film is R for "sequences of strong violence throughout" along with a running time of 117 minutes. Making it a long entry within the franchise using the previous being the initial film. It will not be screened ahead of time for critics.
